A lot of people ask me, why do kids need chiropractic? Or is chiropractic even safe for kids? Watch the video to see my answer.
Chiropractic Care for Children
Chiropractic care is absolutely safe. It’s effective for every child to come in and at least get checked.
Usually, the number one trauma in a child’s life is birth. Think about back to that birth process, how long it took and how traumatic it was. For a little baby, that could potentially shift something out of alignment in the spine, cause pressure to the nervous system and have a lot of different kind of effects. And so, this is what I check for when these young babies come in and it’s very, very gentle the things that we do here and absolutely safe.
My daughter has been adjusted since the day she was born and she always will be and that’s the most important thing. In fact, there was a study that looked at 200 kids who used chiropractic as their primary health care and 200 kids that used traditional healthcare as their primary medicine. What they found was those kids that had chiropractic care had far fewer allergies, asthma, urine infections, and overall were more healthy.
- They spent less time going to doctors.
- They were on fewer medications
- In all measured health, they were about 47% better.
That’s what we want for your family, too. So, if you have a child of any age, or a new baby that hasn’t been checked, make sure to get him or her into the office to at least get checked. If there’s an issue, we can correct that very quickly and easily and have a much better effect for them moving forward.
It’s one of the most powerful things you could do for your children’s health and especially their immune system.
