Hormones And Your Health
Hormones play a big part in controlling your health and to make changes to your health you need to get your hormones work the way they should.
If you consume an overabundance of sugar. You body will start storing fat. Stored energy is fat.
Insulin Resistance
The process of insulin that is attached to the sugar spiking up and down burns out the receptors. It prevents your body from responding to stimuli telling your body to get rid of the sugar out of your body. So it stays in your blood and develops type 2 diabetes making you insulin resistant.
Leptin – the Fat Burner
Leptin is a hormone that tells your body to burn fat. If there is a bunch of fat stored in your body, there is more of this leptin. The more fat you have, the more of the leptin goes to the brain screaming at it to burn fat. The brain then stops paying attention after the messages are sent often, it’s not burning fat anymore no matter what you do.
Ghrelin – the Hunger Signaler
Now that your insulin and leptin is burnt out we have ghrelin. It is like leptin that responds to how much fat you have in your body. If you have insulin or leptin imbalance you are not burning fat. The ghrelin receptors are out of control and are telling you to eat.
When you’re putting in the processed stuff and carbs, you can eat a lot of that because it just burns right out. It doesn’t have any fiber and substance to it. But, when you’re eating good food like we all learned about today, it fills you up real quick.
Going to the gym every single day won’t fix this. Starving yourself is not going to fix this. But, there is a way to do it.
