Today I want to talk to you about the best way to address your health. One of the big things that we do here in our office is we empower families to live a healthy life naturally.
To change how they view and manage their health away from the reactive sick care model of symptoms and disease, fear and scarcity to a place of empowerment, a place of function, abundance, health and vitality.

Why You Must Change How You Think About Your Health
To get empowered, you first have to change how you think about your health. Most people look at their health when it’s not working well, when they have a symptom. Many of those symptoms are not truly telling what’s going on and a symptom is the effect, not the cause.
I was just reading some information. In 2018 here in America, we spent the most money on medical care, trillions of dollars.
We had more doctor visits, we took more medications. We performed more surgeries than any other country in the world. Yet, our health outcomes are at the bottom.
Health outcomes for the elderly, health outcomes for moms and babies. Just overall as a country, we’re all at the bottom or the very lower half, which means that those things really don’t work.
Why You Have Health Issues
The reason why you have symptoms or a health issue in the first place is because your body can no longer adapt to the stresses that you are under. All of us are constantly under emotional, physical, and chemical stresses. More now than ever.
Your brain, your nervous system is designed to adapt to those stresses. And in the right situation, your body will adapt and you’ll stay healthy. That’s everything that we do here. When your body is overwhelmed with stress, eventually when you lose enough function, at least 40% or more, you start to experience symptoms.
The True Cause of Many Health Issues
Again, these are the effects, not the cause. So if that’s an issue in your neck because your spine is shifted out of its normal alignment, well that’ll effect and cause things like headaches, sinus problems, allergies, asthma, insomnia, blood pressure, chronic fatigue, ear infections, blindness, chronic cough, throat issues, neck problems, shoulder pain, numbness and tingling in the hands and the arms, thyroid condition, poor metabolism, poor weight regulation.
These are just some of the things that you’ll experience from an interference, a subluxation in your neck. So if you’re having any of these symptoms, you know the place you want to check is the cervical spine and the nervous system, not treat the symptoms with a drug, medication, shot or surgery.
If you get into the middle part of the back, you’ll see this affects the heart and the lungs. This will affect breathing, pneumonia, heart conditions, blood pressure, gallbladder problems, liver, stomach issues, heartburn, gas problems, immune function, allergies, muscle weakness in the back, kidney problems, rheumatism, Eczema, acne, shingles, back pain.
All of these things are associated with the middle part of your back and if you look at the lower part, digestive issues, menstrual problems, bowel, bladder issues, immune system dysregulation, pain in the back, sciatica, numbness and tingling to the legs, hip, knee, feet, ankle problems.
All these are effects of a problem with your spine. The issue is no doctor looks at this, many chiropractors don’t even look at this. The key to getting and staying healthy in a functional, proactive model is to get to the source.
Find and correct the cause and your body will heal itself naturally. If you’re struggling with any of these symptoms and you want to get better and you want to do this naturally, the best place to do that is here in our office or a Max Living Office near you.
